Management Opportunities 

Position: Clubhouse Manager/AGM
Department: Administration
Reports to: General Manager/COO

Club Information:
Founded in 1900, the Lancaster Country Club is a highly-ranked Platinum Club of America and is one of the finest private clubs in all of Pennsylvania. Facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, 9-hole golf course, 9 tennis courts, 3 platform tennis courts, an aquatics facility, 45,000 square foot clubhouse, for the 650 member families and their guests.

LCC was recently the host of the 2015 U.S. Women's Open Championship, which was incredibly successful and brought tremendous accolades to the club. The club is family centric featuring events and amenities for every demographic while focusing on ever increasing programs for youth, including summer camp, swim team, youth social events as well as extensive junior golf and tennis programs.

The club has recently begun a facility master planning process with the anticipation of some major facility renovations and enhancements beginning in summer of 2018. This position would have a central and key role in the planning and design of potential facility upgrades which would provide valuable experience for their career.

Position Profile:
The Clubhouse Manager would be joining a seasoned team of exceptional executive leaders and would be a pivotal contributor in our day to day operations and our long term strategic initiatives moving forward. This position would have direct oversight of several departments including: Housekeeping, Security, Pool Operations, Facilities Maintenance, Reservations & Front Desk, Catering & Events, and all F&B Operations (in conjunction with the Executive Chef). The primary mindset for this position should be absolute member satisfaction in every aspect of our operation.

LCC provides an environment of continual improvement and would be committed to the career development of individuals in this position. The candidate must have the ability to positively train and lead a team to provide a first-class member experience. The candidate will be expected to maintain high visibility with the membership throughout the clubhouse and other areas as needed.

Position Requirements:
• Four-year degree in hospitality or business management.
• Prior club experience in a similar environment is highly desired.
• Working knowledge of various F&B service techniques and programs.
• Budgeting and Financial acumen.
• Leadership skills focused on training and motivating a team to provide customized member service.
• Knowledge of innovative beverage programs and inventory is preferred.
• Ability to work with various computer and POS systems.
• Strong level of integrity and character.
• Positive representative of the club both internally and externally.
• High level of attention to detail and reinforcing that to staff.

Compensation:
• Commensurate with experience

Golf Course Opportunities

Job Title: Summer Golf Course Maintenance Intern
Date Available: March, 2018
Education/Experience/Requirements: Applicant must be currently enrolled in a turf program or related field. While one season of prior golf course experience is preferred, it is not required.
Salary/Benefits: Pay will be $11.00+ per hour depending on experience. Benefits include lunch and dinner 6 days per week, uniforms, golf privileges, and housing.
Additional Information: Intern(s) at Lancaster Country Club will be exposed to all facets of golf course maintenance and will perform a variety of tasks to prepare for a career in the turf industry. The ideal candidate will be hard working, dedicated, and detail oriented. Lancaster Country Club is a William Flynn designed top 100 classical course that is currently working with an architect to formulate a plan for future renovations. LCC has hosted numerous statewide tournaments in the past, along with the 2015 U.S. Women's Open, and will host the 2018 PA Open. Recent improvements include a new irrigation system, bunker renovation on our 9 hole course, green renovation on the original 18 hole course, and various other projects. Lancaster Country Club is a Platinum Club of America with full amenities for our members.
