Food and Beverage Managers

Job Summary:

Take part in all activities necessary to provide the Club Members and their guests with an outstanding experience.  This includes but is not limited to set-up, friendly and knowledgeable service and all cleaning and closing procedures.

Daily Tasks:
  1. Arrives on time, in proper uniform and ready to work according to the LCC standards.
  2. Maintains proper posture throughout the shift.
  3. Provides a friendly, courteous and professional attitude at all time.
  4. Attends daily pre-shift meetings on time.
  5. Provides immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating and takes members’ and guests’ drink and meal orders in a timely fashion.
  6. Rings in orders to kitchen through POS system using correct seat numbers and fires courses in a timely manner.
  7. Mixes, prepares and serves drinks to members and their guests.
  8. Carefully follows all laws and club policies and procedures regarding alcoholic beverage service and informs a manager if continuing service to a member or guest is in question.
  9. Continually practices beverage and revenue control procedures including pouring the correct amount of alcohol in the correct glass.
  10. Follows set-up procedures including but not limited to inspecting the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
  11. Maintains bar area and equipment.
  12. Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
  13. Requests additional supplies from a supervisor or manager daily and stocks the bar.
  14. Keeps records of liquor, beers, and wine to ensure bar stock is at the appropriate level.
  15. Cleans bar and equipment at the end of the event including disposing of boxes and dumping of recycled items in proper bins.
  16. Responsible for knowing all daily functions of the Club in correspondence with the Club Calendar in addition to the menu items and beverage offerings we serve.Carries out any reasonable request by the Management Team in order to provide excellent service to our members and ensure effective teamwork.
  17. Refers any uncomfortable situations and or complaints that you are not secure with to your manager so that they can deal with the situation.
  18. Checks out with manager on duty after every shift.
  19. Has an understanding of who our department heads are and what their main responsibility in reference to our LCC Organizational Chart is.
  20. Responsible for knowing current and upcoming club events. Has complete knowledge of our club’s facility and room functionality.  Knows the dining rooms hours of operation.

Food Runner
Reports to:

Food and Beverage Managers

Job Summary:

Oversees the delivery of food from the Kitchen preparation area to the appropriate Dining area.

Daily Tasks:
  1. Arrives on time, in proper uniform and ready to work according to the LCC standards.
  2. Maintains proper posture throughout the shift.
  3. Provides a friendly, courteous and professional attitude at all time.
  4. Attends daily pre-shift meetings on time.
  5. Greets all members with a warm, genuine smile while making eye contact.
  6. Knowledge of all dishes on the menu.
  7. Executes quality food delivery to guests in a timely fashion to ensure that the whole table receives their food at the same time and while food is at proper temperature.
  8. Assembles food on tray; making sure the entrée looks presentable.
  9. Serves meal; removes soiled dishes if necessary, places dishes by courses in front of each person, serves from left of the person and uses seat numbers to ensure we are not auctioning off food.
  10. Keeps dish station clean and tidy.
  11. Removes dirty dishes and trays off dining room floor and clears them at the dish station; sorting glasses, dishes, and silverware properly.
  12. Keeps work area clean at all times; ensuring that health code violations are not being broken
  13. Completes opening and closing side work in an efficient manner. Has adequate knowledge of the food runner opening and closing responsibilities and is aware of their expectations.
  14. Keeps expediting area clean at all times, wiping down, sweeping floor, etc.
  15. Carries out any reasonable request by the Management Team in order to provide excellent service to our members and ensure effective teamwork.
  16. Checks out with manager on duty after every shift.
  17. Has an understanding of who our department heads are and what their main responsibility in reference to our LCC Organizational Chart is.

Banquet Server
Reports to:

Food and Beverage Managers

Job Summary:

Provide exceptional LCC service to our members and guests through event setup, food presentation and table service duties, prep-work and closing tasks, and other duties as assigned to help facilitate a smooth and efficient event service.

Daily Tasks:
  1. Meets all expectations and standards laid out in LCC employee handbook including timeliness, uniform, cell phone policy and professional attitude.
  2. Approaches all encounters with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  3. Reads over B.E.O. (banquet event order) for each event and is responsible for knowing and understanding all vital information for the event.
  4. Understand proper setup before event begins and ensures table place settings, including table linen, china, glass, silverware and condiments are setup and that each element is clean, undamaged and attractive.
  5. Attends daily pre-service lineups on time and understands and fulfills assigned tasks.
  6. Assists with proper food and table prep before the event begins.
  7. Sets up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind to ensure safe food handling performance.
  8. Follows and understands expectations of proper LCC food and beverage service standards.
  9. Serve plated dinners and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers, and other needs in a timely manner.
  10. Serve buffets and run food from the kitchen to the function on demand.
  11. Communicates with the banquet captain as well as other staff and management in a respectful tone.
  12. Attentive to members’ and guests’ needs throughout their dining experience.
  13. Completes opening and closing side work in an efficient manner. Has adequate knowledge of the banquet server’s opening and closing responsibilities and is aware of their expectations.
  14. Post event assists in clearing and post function cleanup and garbage removal, maintains clean and orderly back areas, pre-function areas and storage areas, and assures that all china, glassware, silverware, linen, etc. are returned to their proper location.
  15. Carries out any reasonable request by the Management Team in order to provide excellent service to our members and ensure effective teamwork.
  16. Checks out with banquet supervisor or event lead after every shift.
  17. Has an understanding of who our department heads are and what their main responsibility in reference to our LCC Organizational Chart is.
  18. Responsible for knowing current and upcoming club events. Has complete knowledge of our club’s facility and room functionality.
Qualifications: 
  1. 18 years of age preferred
  2. Previous food service experience a plus
  3. Knowledge of catering practices preferred
  4. Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment
  5. Reliable transportation required
  6. Able to read and understand BEO’s
  7. Ability to work a variable work schedule (including evenings and weekends, as required), depending upon event and business requirements.
  8. Good verbal communication skills
  9. Must have a flexible schedule, be highly motivated and quality driven
  10. Able to accept responsibility and lead by example
  11. Team player
  12. Meet physical requirements and demands of position
